Collection: Dead Voices

Not every voice that mattered came with a job title that made sense to the people in charge. This collection is for the journalists who burned their press credentials saying what needed saying, the essayists who treated the page like a courtroom, the social critics who diagnosed what ailed us long before anyone was ready to hear it. Some didn't fit neatly into any single category then, and they don't now. That's exactly why they're here.
